STATEMENT ON THE RECENT SECURITY BREACH OF OUR
WEB PLATFORMS & INFORMATION NETWORKS
As many of you know, EWIC and the EastWestED group suffered a breach to our online and communications infrastructure starting October 2021. At the time we decided it was best to wait until all of our online sites and communication resources were totally refortified before we continued with enrolling students for our offered to students outside of the United States. Student privacy in all regards is of paramount to us and we have always been committed that we would bear whatever cost necessary to protect our students vital data. We have contracted some of the best institutional IT and cybersecurity experts available in the field to consult us as we went about securing our online infrastructure and user interfaces. And while this process has taken time to complete we have remained more resilient and committed than ever.
I am pleased to say that we are very close to the point where we can begin a full-fledged enrollment campaign with the guarantee that all communications and data exchanges with our students are and will continue to be completely secure from interference. We will begin admissions early in January for the Fall Semester which will begin September 2023. We will also hold Summer Intersession courses running from June to August, 2023. We invite you to join the EWIC family and achieve your potential. These setbacks have not deterred our passion for internationa education. We are more committed than ever to help you achieve your dreams on a global scale.

The International Language Enrichment Center - I.L.E.C.
Cultural Understanding & Fluency
The International Language Enrichment Center is EWIC's specialized instruction hub for language training, immersion, and individualized (custom) instruction.
To prepare the international student segment, ILEC focuses on improving the level of English fluency for each student so they can actively participate in U.S. classroom discussions.
ILEC serves as the platform for all foreign language learning with native speakers in the languages available: English, Chinese, Japanese, Spanish, and German.
ILEC was created as a central platform for all of our language development courses, special assistance and remedial language tutoring, as well as to offer cutting edge language mastery techniques and tools such as our open speaking practice groups for oral English offered on zoom daily and focusing on a alternating daily topics.
ILEC offers proficiency testing services and practices to help ensure the next time you take the TOEFL or IELTS exams can be your last.
Individualized Rapid Language Development Program
Offered through EWICollege and the Worldwide Webstitute
E.W.l.C. offers Rapid Development Foreign Language Courses available through one-on-one instruction. Chinese, Japanese, English, and other select languages can be taken in Rapid Development mode. These classes are scheduled around the students' schedules with native language instructors. All classes are taught live via zoom through the WorldwideWebstiute.
